Google is the owner of a really great website called Blogger.com which is an excellent source for anyone who wishes to keep a blog. Not only is the website an excellent place for writing blog, one of the best features is that it is totally free.

Blogger has created several different template styles that you can choose from when you are creating your blog account. These templates are also free. In addition to the use of the template, you will also be provided with a domain name for you blog.

Adding to the benefits of getting a free template and domain name, there are several other reasons why you should use blogger.

Firstly, you are going to find that blogger makes it very easy to manage your blog. Even if you have no experience blogging, you will quickly learn how to navigate your way around the site. Just minutes after you have set up your account, you will be ready to start writing and publishing your blog. You can update your blog as frequently as you like. Chrome Wins Browser Speed Test

Two years ago, Google’s Chrome browser didn’t exist.  Now, it might be the best browser available.  New test results claim that it beats all competitors by a significant amount, at least in terms of speed.

Lifehacker’s Kevin Purdy recently put Firefox 3.5.4, Firefox 3.6, Google Chrome 4.0.249.78 (which is considered stable), Google Chrome 4.0.302.3 (which is a developer version), Opera 10.01, Opera 10.5 (which is a pre-alpha version), and Safari 4.0.4 through their paces.  Experiments related to load times, JavaScript, DOM/CSS, and memory use were performed.

NY AG Investigating Online Discount Clubs

New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo said today his office is investigating 22 online businesses that deceptively link consumers to fee-based membership programs that charge unauthorized fees for discount offers.

The investigation found online shoppers are unknowingly directed to a membership program seller’s website that is separate from the online retailers site. Information about joining the membership program and its consequences, including the fact that the consumer is agreeing to transfer their credit or debit card information, is buried in the fine print and cluttered text.

A Markup That Could Have Big Implications for SEO

Ford Shows You Can Have Your Office in Your Truck

As we discussed before, Internet-ready vehicles were one of the more interesting themes throughout the recent Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. One vehicle in particular that WebProNews got an up-close look at was the 2011 Ford Super Duty, which the company refers to as a “contractor’s dream.”

Checking out the truck, it’s not hard to see why they would call it that. It has a computer in it running Windows-embedded software, built specifically for Ford by Microsoft.

Google Gives Mobile Users a Link to Popular Images

Google has introduced a new feature for its mobile Image Search offering. The feature is “Popular Images,” and lets Android and iPhone users browse popular images (go figure).

The Popular Images feature comes in the form of a link just under the search box on the Google Image Search page. When clicked, it brings up a categorized list of image searches and corresponding images.

Intel Shows Off Interesting Way to Access Content

At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas earlier this month, Intel had a lot of things going on. For one, they introduced a whole new family of Intel Core Processors. They also had a cool proof-of-concept device on display. This was something they call the Intel Infoscape.

Infoscape is a giant display featuring cubes of information, and users can walk up to it and access all kinds of different content – Google News, Tweets, blogs, Flickr images, etc. While on display at CES, the content dealt with CES-related info.
